However, under the terms of its accession to the Agreement, Thailand asserted that it will not be bound by any UN Regulation nor by Article 10 of the Agreement. As such, Thailand does not accept type approvals issued by other Contracting Parties. While Thailand has not opposed any of the UN Regulations listed here, manufacturers should check with Thai authorities regarding their national regulatory requirements and approvals.
