Proposal to add the following paragraph to the draft amendment presented in document WP.29/2016/87:

9. Entry into force

The provisions set in Revision 2 to Rule No. 1 on uniform provisions for Periodical Technical Inspections of wheeled vehicles with regard to the protection of the environment shall enter into force on 1 June 2018.
