The representative of Japan, Chair of the IWG on IWVTA, reported on the good progress made during the meetings of the group on the development of draft UN Regulation No. 0 (WP.29-169-11) and of the Question and Answer document. He also outlined the positive outcome of the pretesting exercise by the group of draft UN Regulation No. 0, which will be made available to WP.29 delegates together with “the Question and Answer document”.

47. The Chair of the IWG on IWVTA announced the group’s intention to present the draft of UN Regulation No. 0 at the forthcoming session of WP.29 on the basis of an informal document.
