The secretariat reported on the results of the February 2026 session of the Inland Transport Committee (ITC) and the list of main decisions (ECE/TRANS/2026/L.1). WP.29 noted that, in the framework of the UN80, ITC had decided to launch a series of informal consultations with the full ITC membership and Chairs of ITC subsidiary bodies, to better streamline ITC activities, based on Member State priorities. ITC also agreed to consult its subsidiary bodies on complementary financing mechanisms.
