127. The representative of Japan, CoChair of the IWG on ADS, reported on GRVA’s recent achievements related to the development of a new UN GTR on ADS (WP.2919808/Add.1). He recalled his earlier interventions on the same topic under agenda item 2.3 (WP.2919807) and noted that the work was progressing according to schedule, enabling a review and vote on the draft GTR on ADS by AC.3 in June 2026. He added that the IWG on ADS was in the process of preparing a proposal for its future activities after June 2026.

128. AC.3 welcomed the status report and reiterated WP.29’s request (under item 2.3) that the secretariat distribute the two informal documents with an official symbol at the June 2026 session.
