81. WP.29 noted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1074/Rev.21 on the status of the 1997 Agreement, including the status of the annexed UN Rules, the list of the contracting parties and of their administrative departments and encouraged the contracting parties to provide relevant updated information to the secretariat, as needed. WP.29 welcomed the information provided by the secretariat that Armenia had acceded to the 1997 Agreement, which would enter into force for the country on 12 April 2026, and invited the contracting parties to share with the secretariat (francois.guichard@un.org) any update relevant for the document on the status of the 1997 Agreement.
