22. The Chair of GRPE informed about the latest activities at GRPE in relation to the decarbonization strategy. He highlighted the expected proposals from the IWG on Electric Vehicle and the Environment (EVE) and the IWG on Automotive Life Cycle Assessment (A-LCA) as examples for the next session of GRPE.

23. The Chair also informed WP.29 that a biennial report on the implementation of the ITC Decarbonization Strategy has been endorsed by the Inland Transport Committee during its 88th session in February 2026.
