The expert from the Kingdom of the Netherlands summarized the discussions on the topic of a possible UN GTR on child restraint systems held in the last two sessions of WP.29 and AC.3 (see ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1186 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1188). He proposed that this issue be added to GRSP’s programme of work with a low priority, as this was a long-term project, and that GRSP should be informed regularly of progress made in this area, including any technical work in ISO to create a standard for a child restraint system with 3 points.
