53. The Chair of GRE reported on the results of the ninety-third session of GRE (for details, see the report in ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/93).
54. The GRE chair mentioned that GRE adopted various amendment proposals to UN Regulations Nos. 48 (Installation of Lighting and Light-Signalling Devices), 148 (Light-Signalling Devices), 149 (Road Illumination Devices) and 10 (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and continued working on other draft amendments. He also briefed WP.29 on the progress in signalling requirements for vehicle equipped with ADS, including ADS marker lamp.
55. The GRE chair noted that Mr. D. Rovers, expert from Netherlands (Kingdom of the) and long-standing Vice-Chair of GRE, had stepped down to pursue a new professional challenge. WP.29 expressed sincere appreciation for Mr. Rovers’ many years of dedicated service and his highly productive contributions to the work of GRE.
56. Finally, WP.29 noted that GRE had elected Mr. T. Kärkkäinen (Finland) as Chair and elected Mr. P. Baillet (France) as Vice-Chair for the sessions of GRE scheduled in the year 2026.
