The representative of Canada informed AC.3 that GRPE had adopted the proposal submitted by the IWG on Electric Vehicle and the Environment (EVE) at its last session for a new UN GTR on in-vehicle battery durability for electrified heavy-duty vehicles, that will be submitted to AC.3 at its next session in November 2025. He also noted that several improvement activities were on-going in view of preparing a proposal for a first amendment potentially finalized in time for the November 2026 session of AC.3.
