Proposal from the DETA informal group to make the use of the Database for the Exchange of Type Approval (DETA) information system mandatory for the International Whole Vehicle Type Approval (IWVTA) system, also known as UN Regulation 0, also under development.

The informal group working on an International Whole Vehicle Type Approval (IWVTA) system envisions changes to the 1958 Agreement and the establishment of a UN R0 (IWVTA regulation). The Data Exchange for Type Approvals informal group offers proposals in this regard.
