Working Documents for 198th WP.29 session will exclude Level 1C, with editorial corrections merged. Pre-discussion on EU Mega-Decision is scheduled for 2026/1/14, followed by extra GRPE discussion during GRVA week in 2026/1/19–2026/3. A new Supplement 1 to the 04 Series of Amendments to UN Regulation No. 154 will be submitted to 94th GRPE session in 2026/3, with review of applicable Level, manipulation device transfer from UN R83 possibility, and Level 1B transitional provision status. Japan is undertaking precise review on GRPE-93-29 and may provide text proposals for incorporation into the Informal Document. |
