GRSG established the DDADWS informal working group to draft proposals for two new UN type approval regulations (1958 Agreement) based on the EU Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1341 for driver drowsiness and attention warning systems and EU Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2590 for advanced driver distraction warning systems. The informal group has set the October 2026 GRSG session as its target for delivery of the draft regulations.
