The proposal inserts a definition of opaque obscuration and amends paragraph 15.1.4 to correct a reference to UN R43, Annex 24 rather than Annex 21. Paragraph 15.2.4.9.1 is amended to exclude areas of opaque obscuration from obstruction calculations for Class I rear-view devices, treating them similarly to mandatory rubber sealings used for window mounting.
