Guidelines establishing requirements for installation, arrangement, position and geometric visibility of rear marking plates on slow-moving vehicles and their trailers which, by construction, cannot travel faster than 30 km/h. At least one rear marking plate shall be type approved and meet regulation requirements, with apex directed upwards and positioned at the rear of the vehicle between 250 mm and 1,500 mm above ground. The plate must lie within 5° of a transverse vertical plane perpendicular to the vehicle’s longitudinal axis and face rearwards, with horizontal visibility of 30° inwards and outwards and vertical visibility of 15° above and below horizontal.
