Proposal to introduce new provisions to accommodate type-approval of hydrogen Type 1A dual fuel engines and vehicles, modifications to include Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) instruments, new provisions to accommodate monitoring on-board fuel and/or energy consumption during PEMS testing, and to amend for consistency between UN R49 and UN R83 in light of amendments to the 06 and 07 series of UN R83.

(h) AC.2 reviewed the WP.29 agenda and recommended to postpone to the next session consideration of ECE/TRAN/WP.29/2025/162 (agenda item 4.6.2).

68. The World Forum considered draft amendments under agenda items 4.6.1 to 4.6.10. and recommended their submission to AC.1 for voting. For agenda item 4.6.2, WP.29 agreed with the AC.2 recommendation to postpone consideration of ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2025/162 to the next session.
