Request for WP.29 attention to the Council of Europe Resolution 2346, especially paragraph 11.2 calling on “the GRVA to conduct a human rights impact assessment as part of its preparatory work on the future regulation of autonomous vehicles, as part of a general, comprehensive framework for ensuring that safety is fully maximised during future development and production of autonomous vehicles”.

GRVA received information (GRVA-10-10) concerning the letter of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (GRVA-10-07) and agreed to follow the recommendation of AC.2 (as noted in the last section of GRVA-10-10). GRVA requested the secretariat to prepare a response, accordingly.
