The representative of the United States of America informed AC.3 that his country agreed to remove the study reservation on Injury Assessment Reference Values (IARVs) to move Phase 2 forward to incorporate the Flexible Pedestrian Legform Impactor (FlexPLI) and the new improved bumper test area. He clarified that the IWG would convene at the end of November 2017 to consolidate a draft text of the amendment to the UN GTR for adoption at the December 2017 session of GRSP.

133. The expert from the Republic of Korea informed AC.3 on the progress of work of the Task Force (TF) to design provisions covering active deployable systems in the bonnet area. He added that a meeting of the TF was planned on 21 and 22 November in Berlin to provide an outcome of discussions at the December 2017 session of GRSP.
