Proposal for a new Regulation on frontal impact with focus on restraint systems
Proposal to establish a new UN Regulation on uniform provisions for the approval of passenger cars with regard to their occupant-restraint system performance in the event of a frontal collision (full width rigid barrier test).
Please note: para. 5.2.8.2. should read 5 liters, not 0.5 liters maximum allowable electrolyte spillage.
This proposal (WP.29/2015/105), Amended para. 69, was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties out of the 0 applying UN R137 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-nine voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.

Proposal for the 01 series of amendments to the new Regulation on frontal impact with focus on restraint systems
Proposal to increase the stringency of the Thorax Compression Criterion (ThCC) for the Hybrid III 5th female dummy in the passenger seat to 34 mm under the proposed new regulation to test the performance of occupant restraint systems in the event of a frontal collision. The transition date would be 1 September 2020.
