At its previous session, WP.29 decided to elect a second Vice-Chair at this session for the term of office until November 2026 and invited the delegations to consider nominating candidates for this position. In line with the Rules of Procedure of the Inland Transport Committee, the delegations are invited to submit their nominations by 28 February 2026.
