GRE may wish to consider a proposal for amendments to the Consolidated Resolution on the Common Specification of Light Source Categories (R.E.5) that was tabled by the experts from the International Automotive Lighting and Light-Signalling Expert Group (GTB).

GRE will be informed about the activities of the Task Force on Substitutes and Retrofits (TF SR) and will consider their amendment proposals to R.E.5 that introduce new light emitting diode (LED) replacement light source categories H8, H16 and HB4.
