Proposal to rectify an inconsistency between UN R149 and UN R98, 112 and 123 by aligning the measurement points for the mechanical deterioration test. The deletion of measuring point HV for the passing-beam headlamps does not change any technical requirement since there are no photometric values specified for point HV in the UN R149.

This proposal (WP.29/2025/38) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-six Contracting Parties out of the 59 applying UN R149 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-six voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
