On behalf of the Task Force on Studded Tyres (TF ST), the expert from Finland reported on their activities (GRBP-76-13) and introduced a proposal that included prescriptions for ice grip performance of tyres of class C1 into UN Regulation No. 164 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/2022/11). GRBP adopted the proposal and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and vote at the March 2023 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 as draft Supplement 1 to UN Regulation No. 164.
