Proposal to amend the minimum height (clearance distances) of lateral protection devices for vehicles with longer distance of axle and to amend the transitional provisions to exempt Contracting Parties that apply UN R73 on or after the entry into force of the 02 series from the obligation to accept approvals granted in accordance with paragraph 11.11. of the Regulation.
This proposal (WP.29/2025/104), as amended by para. 70, was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-three Contracting Parties out of the 45 applying UN R73 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-three voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
