DSSAD data, whether stored on or off the vehicle, shall be readily available and retrievable through an electronic communication interface that complies with a publicly available standard, with internationally recognized standards recommended to promote interoperability. Data elements concerning activation and deactivation of the feature shall be available via the vehicle’s information display or user interface where controls related to manual performance of the DDT are provided, with access to timestamps subject to restrictions ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
Agenda includes status of work on GTR and UNR proposals and the Guidance and Interpretation Document (GID), and proposals to resolve open items concerning:
Proposal to add assembly plant(s) to the approval information document.
Proposal from GRPE to allow for the usage of the reference fuel required for emission testing when the manufacturer applies for UN R85 and/or UN R49 type approval at same time.
Proposal from GRPE to align UN R24 with to align UN R85 and ISO 1585:2020.
Proposal from GRPE to exempt vehicles with newer technologies (e.g., modern vehicles) from opacity tests.
Proposal to clarify the scope and application of the regulation.
