AC.3 noted that the first meeting of the informal group had been held in conjunction with the May 2010 session of GRSG and that the terms of reference and rules of procedures of the informal group had been adopted by GRSG (see report ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/77, Annex II). The representative of IMMA announced that the informal group would submit to GRSG at its October 2010 session a preliminary list of symbols for consideration. He invited the AC.3 representatives to request their GRSG experts to comment on this first list of symbols in due time for consideration by GRSG at its October 2010 session.
