Proposal forclarification on the definition of “adjusted ocular reference point”
The proposal seeks to clarify that Field of Vision Assistant (FVA) are not to be considered with regard to the visibility requirement during night and day in paragraph 5.2., since the speed displayed by the FVA is not the primary source of information.
Proposal to further take into account the impact of the modified requirement for the height of the lower edge of LPD on the Contracting Parties, including the need to adapt the infrastructure and to ensure equal treatment of all Contracting Parties signatories to this UN Regulation.
Proposal to resolve such an inconsistency with UN R125 to harmonize the location of the lower datum point (at 5°) of the angle of obstruction requirement in paragraph 5.1.3. (at 4°).
Proposal to amend to meet the visibility requirements of UN R125, there is a notch in the lower edge of the black band of the front window in some vehicles. This is required to satisfy the requirements of UN-R125, but is considered to be meaningless for driving vision and needs to be corrected.
