UN R137: Proposal for Supplement 3 to the 01 series of amendments
Proposal from a drafting task force to:
Align UN Regulations with the provisions of the revised General Safety Regulation of the European Union, thus, expand the scope of the UN Regulation No. 137,
Provide appropriate transitional provisions, and
Make minor adaptations and clarifications to the existing requirements.
This proposal (WP.29/2020/59) was adopted by the World Forum. Forty-two Contracting Parties out of the 55 applying UN R137 were present for the vote by AC.1. Forty-two voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
