Proposal to clarify opaque obscuration in indirect vision devices. The proposal inserts a definition of opaque obscuration and amends paragraph 15.1.4 to correct a reference to UN R43, Annex 24 rather than Annex 21. Paragraph 15.2.4.9.1 is amended to exclude areas of opaque obscuration from obstruction calculations for Class I rear-view devices, treating them similarly to mandatory rubber sealings used for window mounting.

Two presentations were delivered to the task force: one on abdominal injury assessment using human body models in frontal sled simulations, examining seatbelt trauma and submarining effects; and another proposing a real-world frontal crash assessment matrix based on field data, advocating for morphed human body models to represent diverse occupant sizes and ages. Continued discussion on priorities and workshop planning were postponed to the next meeting on April 14, 2026.
23. GRSP agreed to defer discussion on this agenda item at its May 2015 session based on the outcome of a research on helmets announced by the expert from Germany.
