Proposal to: - Align UN R48 with updated requirements in UN R149 with regard to light sources and total objective luminous flux
- Replace the term “LED module” with “Light source module”
- Modify wording to adapt to the introduction of “matched pair” requirements for headlamps and AFS
- Align the requirements for off-road vehicles passing-beam vertical inclination across UN R48 series
- Allow the projection of a pattern for predicted trajectory
- Amend failure detection and signalisation requirements to reflect technological progress in multiple light sources.
