This task force was agreed in principle during the March 2018 session of the ITS/AD informal group. The group appears to be basing its activities on “three pillars” proposed by OICA: Physical Certification Tests (closed track or lab testing of “worst case scenarios”, Real World Driving Test, and Audit (manufacturer compliance with industry standards, best practices, and methods to ensure software integrity and cybersecurity).
