GRE-IWG SLR presents baseline amendments to UN R74 series 04. The document highlights main improvements including simplification of definitions in para. 2 by deleting common definitions shared with UN R48, deletion of six definitions resulting in six remaining, terminology and format alignment with UN R48 and UN R53, addition of a summary table of lamp positioning and geometric visibility angles, amendments to align with other installation regulations including failure provisions and electric vehicle inclusion, simplification of para. 6.×.4. and 6.×.5., retention of only the latest transitional provisions with previous ones moved to a reference document, and provision of editable pictures.
