Presentation on baseline amendments to UN R48 series 10, highlighting major editorial work including numerous editorial harmonisations and consistency improvements throughout the text, restructure of sub-paragraphs 6.×.4. and 6.×.5., improvements of paragraphs 5.18 to 5.20 on movable components, new informative annexes for lamp positioning and geometric visibility angles, addition of work lamp definition and installation requirements in new paragraph 6.30, updated references from R.E.3 Rev.7 to Rev.8, updated transitional provisions, clarifications on technological neutrality of light sources and non-replaceable light sources, and harmonisation among installation regulations aligning provisions in UN R48 with those in UN R53 and UN R74.
