The minutes of the 9the REC meeting held in Geneva on 18 January 2012 (doc. REC-09-04) were approved with one change to item 5 – “Williams Euromot will undertake this for the next meeting”. The chairman thanked the secretary for the quality of the minutes.

Mr Eberhardt asked for an amendment to the 3rd paragraph of item 6e on page 2:

“He suggested that reduction efficiency requirements would have to be reduced from 70% when using WHTC but that major cities would might also insist on their own real world cycles after systems had been approved through REC.”

There was also a duplicated sentence in the following paragraph which was removed.

With these amendments the minutes were adopted.
