Item text: GRVA may wish to consider a proposal for a new UN Regulation on Urban Emergency Braking System (UEBS), specifically for heavy vehicles travelling at low speeds and the protection of vulnerable road users. With this UN Regulation, the direct vision regulation under the purview of the Working Party on General Safety provisions (GRSG) could be amended so as to have different performance criteria for vehicles equipped with this UEBS.
