Immobilizers: Proposal for a new UN Regulation
Proposal to create a new UN Regulation on uniform technical prescriptions concerning approval of immobilizers and approval of a vehicle with regard to its immobilizer, pursuant to splitting UN R116 into three separate regulations.
This proposal (WP.29/2021/49) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties to the 1958 Agreement were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-eight voted in favor with zero against and one abstaining.
