05 series of amendments Based upon the adopted proposal: WP.29/2014/16

Proposal to extend the scope of UN R10 to include all kinds of power train systems (e.g., as separate electrical components) above a certain working voltage level, when they are in charging mode and including type approval of separate electrical components for the “REESS charging mode coupled to power grid” configuration.

The proposal also introduces additional details for vehicles in charging mode operating conditions (alternating or direct current charging).

Proposal to require that the vehicle manufacturer’s statement regarding frequency bands, power levels, antenna positions and installation provisions for the installation of radio frequency transmitters (RF-transmitters) be added to the information document (e.g. under item 63, Annex 2A) to facilitate conformity of production and other compliance checks.
