Proposal to transfer the colorimetric coordinates of UN R3 to UN R48 as part of the larger project to consolidate the colorimetric coordinates of active and passive light devices under UN R48.
This proposal (WP.29/2012/62) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-four Contracting Parties out of the 44 applying UN R3 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-four voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.

The amendment to paragraph 2.9.3. of Regulation No. 48 (Supplement 3 to the 02 series of amendments) introduced into the definition of the illuminating surface of a retro-reflector the reference to the declaration of this surface by the applicant during type approval of the device. This proposal amends UN R3 to provide for this procedure.
