Proposal to:

Correct language for consistent use of “shall”
Add year of publication extensions to ISO 7637-2 references
Clarify the two types of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies (ESA) and related testing provisions
Add references to the edition for EMC standards
Update Model A and B approval markings
Add missing failure criteria for “Advanced Driving System” (ADS) “Brake mode” vehicle test conditions
Correct a reference to IEC 61000-4-5
Improve consistency, align with relevant standards, and clarify provisions.

26. The experts of the Informal Working Group on Electromagnetic Compatibility (IWG EMC) reported on their activities (GRE-92-29) and introduced corrections to UN Regulation No. 10 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2025/3 and GRE-92-24). GRE adopted the proposal, as amended by GRE-92-24, and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and adoption to the November 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 as draft Supplement 1 to the 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 10.

29. The experts from the Informal Working Group on Electromagnetic Compatibility (IWG EMC) reported on their activities (GRE-93-19) and introduced a proposal for Supplement 2 to the 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 10 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2025/25). The experts from OICA and CLEPA proposed further amendments (GRE-93-20). GRE adopted the proposal, as amended by GRE-93-20, and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and adoption to the March 2026 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 as draft Supplement 2 to the 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 10.
