11. Following the request made by GRE at its sixty-fourth session (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/64, para. 19), the expert from GTB made a presentation (GRE-65-22) justifying the choice of the minimum value of 100 m established in para. 6.1.9.3.1.2. of Regulation No. 48. This paragraph deals with the sensor of the automatic activation/deactivation of the main-beam headlamps to detect a preceding vehicle. GRE was satisfied with these research findings that supported the 100 m value. |
