The expert from the FIA Foundation informed GRSP that no concrete proposal was yet available concerning basic requirements for light-weight protective helmets to fit the needs of some Asian countries. GRSP agreed to defer discussion on this subject at its December 2011 session on the basis of a proposal tabled by the expert from the FIA Foundation.

27. Moreover, GRSP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2011/5 as amended below. The secretariat was requested to submit the proposal to WP.29 and AC.1, for consideration and vote at their November 2011 sessions, as draft Corrigendum 4 to the 05 series of amendments to Regulation No. 22.
