Proposal to separate provisions for tire-pressure monitoring systems from UN R64.

Proposed text for a new UN Regulation that would comprise all the tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) provisions presently contained in UN Regulation No. 64. This separation is proposed to facilitate the use of UN R64 in the international whole vehicle type approval system under development.

Proposal for a separate TPMS regulation, removing the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System provisions out of UN R64, in order to facilitate the establishment of the International Whole Vehicle Type Approval system.
