The expert from Poland introduced GRSG-114-04 that proposed to align the new requirements with the general structure of the Regulation. The expert from India suggested using the same terminology as in the Regulation (GRSG-114-20). GRSG noted a general preference for the optional use of the new provisions and a preference to submit them to the World Forum as a Supplement. GRSG adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2018/7 in reference to GRSG-114-23-Rev.1, as reproduced in Annex IV to the session report. The secretariat was requested to submit it to WP.29 and AC.1 as draft Supplement 8 to the 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 43 for consideration at their November 2018 sessions.
