GRB-68-22 | UN R9: Proposal for the 08 series of amendments Proposal to align ASEP for high powered L4 and L5 vehicles, used for passenger transport, is proposed in line with UN Regulation No 41.04 due to comparable sound emissions levels of L4 and L5 vehicles with the ones of L3 vehicles and the possibility of applying similar measurement methods for sound emissions for those vehicle categories. This is also supported by the Commission study on enhanced sound requirements for mopeds, quads and replacement silencers of L-category vehicles which resulted in amendments to UN Regulation Nos 9, 63 and 92 (ref. document WP.29/2017/2).
GRB/2018/7 | UN R9: Proposal for a Supplement Proposal for amendments to introduce ASEP requirements for L4 and L5 category vehicles with PMR > 50 W/kg.
GRB/2018/6 | UN R92: Proposal for 02 series of amendments Proposal to introduce requirements for non-original replacement exhaust silencing systems with multiple, manually or electronically adjustable, rider-selectable operating modes or variable geometries (NORESS with “flexibilities”). This is a consolidated version of the amended regulation with the changes marked in <b>bold</b> and <strike>strikethrough</strike> text.

3.5.4. Working Party on Lighting and Light-Signalling (GRE) (Eightieth session, 23-26 October 2018)
GRE/80 | Report of the GRE on its 80th (October 2018) session
GRE/2018/43 | UN R10: Proposal for the 06 series of amendments Proposal from the Task Force on Electromagnetic Compatibility (TF-EMC) to align UN R10 with the vehicle narrow-band limit and the latest set-ups (artificial networks, harness location, Z-folding, …) for vehicles in charging mode under the International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR) 12 Standard. The proposal also introduces additional details for vehicle in charging mode operating conditions (alternative or direct current charging).
GRE/2018/50 | DRL: Proposal for the 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 53 and proposal for amendments to the draft new UN Regulation on Light-Signalling Devices (LSD) Proposal from the Special Interest Group on L-category vehicle daytime running lamps to introduce requirements for automatic switching from DRL to headlamp(s) if the maximum luminous intensity of DRL is above 700 cd.
GRE/2018/41 | Proposal for a collective amendment to UN Regulations Nos. 48, 53, 74 and 86 Proposal to introduce requirements for light emitting diode (LED) substitute light sources into Regulations Nos. 48, 53, 74 and 86.
GRE/2018/48 | RE5: Proposal for amendment 3 to the Consolidated Resolution on the common specification of light source categories Proposal to amend the light source category LR4. This proposal relates to document GRE/2018/49 proposing to amend UN R128 in relation to the 1 min/30 min ratio. The change to UN R128 would affect the requirements of the LR4 category which is not its intention. Therefore, the present proposal modifies the category sheet of LR4 in order to maintain the current requirements for the LR4 standard light sources.
GRE/2018/49 | UN R128: Proposal for Supplement [8] The current text of UN R128, Annex 4, paragraph 1.2. allows only for a decrease of luminous flux from 1 minute to 30 minutes. This has proven to be unnecessarily design restrictive as the drive electronics in a stabilized light source can lead to a slight increase in the luminous flux from 1 minute to 30 minutes. Therefore, this proposal would allow a limited increase of luminous flux from 1 minute to 30 minutes within the given minimum and maximum requirements. This proposal relates to document GRE/2018/48 retaining requirements for LR4 category light sources which would otherwise have been impacted by the present proposal.
GRE/2018/49/Corr.1 | UN R128: Correction to the proposal for Supplement [8] Modification of Figure 1 (Example of allowed luminous flux behaviour of an approved LED light source under UN Regulation No.128, Annex 4, paragraph 1.2.) to add the range after one minute and 30 minutes with a positive or negative "gradient".
